Sinossi:
This interesting essay by Dudley Wright, The Eleusinian Mysteries and Rites, was first published in London in 1919 by the Theosophical Publishing House.
As a publisher, I decided to give this book a new life, republishing it in the Telestérion series, dedicated to the best texts on ancient mystery cults, with the addition of an introductory essay of mine. And I decided to republish it because, as simple and short as it is, it represents in my opinion one of the best essays that have been written on the Eleusinian Mysteries. It contains many truths, many more truths than essays written in recent decades by presumptuous and arrogant academics, who never really understood the true essence and message of Eleusis to humanity (Nicola Bizzi).
