People told me to tell my story, to write what I feel and what a I want but to tell the truth, I don’t know where to start. Or maybe yes. Over the last few years, the awareness of the value of time has taken over and pushed me more and more towards change in a new, very different and, perhaps, more difficult direction.
I decided to change my life and to give up all professional and economic certainties to do what I felt inside, dedicating myself to myself and to my passion: the Vespa. From that moment on, the journey began.
I have had to face many choices and challenges, the path I have taken has not only been marked by the kilometres I travelled, but also by the personal growth and the discovery of what I was, and what too many times I have never been able to see due to habit.
Knowing oneself is essential for one's well-being and for understanding how to be happy.
I have encapsulated my adventure in this book with the serenity and the conviction that I have once again made the right choice.
A motorbike, or rather a Vespa, solo trip, exciting and thrilling, certainly in some countries very challenging. 11,500 km in almost two months through Eastern Europe, Turkey, Iran, Pakistan, India and finally Nepal.
Each country has been a discovery and an emotion: from the beauty of Turkey, an Iran that is nothing short of mind-blowing, to the 63 armed escorts to cross Pakistan, to the anxiety and stress control in India, due to the rear shock absorber breaking down late one afternoon. And finally Nepal, an ideal place to find one's mental well-being and happiness.
